Lyne Bastien

 

Born in Rouyn, Quebec, 1957

Lyne Bastien was born in Abitibi. She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts with a major in printmaking from Concordia University, Montreal, which she completed in 1992. Bastien has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions: Les Femmeuses, Pratt & Whitney Canada (2002-2003-2004), Œuvres choisies: Collection Cirque du Soleil, Galerie l’Anse-au-Ciel (2004), and Les 200 ans de la lithographie, Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec (1998), among others. Some of her creations have been published in Le Sabord, a literary and visual arts magazine. Her works have been acquired by many institutions including the Art Academy of Cracovia, the National Bank of Paris, the National Library of Quebec, the Cirque de Soleil, and Loto-Québec.
