Amy Brnger

Amy Brnger

Born Keene, New Hampshire, 1964

Amy Brnger combines rich colors, full brush strokes and keen observation to create her domestically inspired small paintings of interiors, landscapes and flower arrangements. Although best known as a painter, Brnger is a celebrated chef who recently participated in the Pillsburgy Bake-Off. She brings the same interest in colour and texture to her art and to her culinary creations. Her extensive travels abroad and the opportunity to learn about different cultures have also influenced her art.

Amy Brnger graduated from the University of New Hampshire where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts in 1986 and her Master of Arts in Counselling in 1992. Her works have been exhibited throughout the United States, including the Kimball Jenkins Museum, Plymouth State College, New England College, the DeCordova Museum, and the Wichita Center for the Arts.
